Inverness Athletic win first trophy as they beat NMM Sams in First Division Cup final

Inverness Athletic claimed their first trophy since being established as they defeated NMM Sams after extra time in the First Division Cup final.

Craig McBeath scored the opener for Athletic as they went into the break in the lead.

But NMM Sam's equalised in the second half through a direct corner through Dave Ross.

Bradi Hulme regained the lead for Athletic, but they were pegged back again by a Kevin Mackinnon penalty.

The game went to extra time and Athletic went in front again through Logan Dunsmore before McBeath scored his second to kill off the game.
