The duo, who both arrived last season, will not be at the Caledonian Stadium next season after the expiry of their current contracts.

Boyd (26) arrived at Inverness Caledonian Thistle last summer from after previously playing for Alloa Athletic in League One the previous season.

However, he failed to make an impact during his time at Inverness, only scoring once in 41 appearances for the club last season, in the 1-0 win over Cove Rangers in October.

Woods (20) arrived at Inverness in January, having previously came through youth academies at Burnley and Manchester United.

He played seven times for Inverness during his time at the club.

The departure comes after it was revealed on Saturday that Robbie Deas was leaving Inverness to sign for Premiership outfit Kilmarnock.

It has been reported that Wallace Duffy has signed a new deal to remain at Inverness next season, but that has yet to be confirmed by Inverness.

The future of eight players who are out of contract is yet to be confirmed with players including Scott Allardice, Danny Devine, Aaron Doran, Lewis Hyde, Cammy Mackay, Billy Mckay, Shane Sutherland and Tom Walsh.

Earlier today, head coach Billy Dodds agreed a new deal to remain as head coach of Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
