Inverness Lions called up for Scotland





Inverness City Lions have six players that have been called up for Scotland basketball Under-14’s at the Humphrey Long Invitational Tournament in Manchester.

Jack Dalgarno, Nilavan Tamijmarane and Emre Yilmaz, have been called up to the boys squad while Eilidh Mason, Kirsty Morrison and Zoe Sharpe have been called up to the girls squad.

In addition, ex player Anya Morrison who is now at Perth Phoenix has also be called up to the squad.

Organised by Basketball England, the two-day event sees two teams from Scotland, two England teams and an Aspire select team – chosen from Basketball England’s Aspire programme – compete in a series of games at the National Basketball Performance Centre.
