Inverness rugby player Jamie Dobie named in 37-man Scotland squad for 2025 Six Nations campaign by head coach Gregor Townsend





Jamie Dobie has been named in the Scotland squad for the 2025 Six Nations.

The Inverness native, who started out in rugby in the Highland Rugby Club system, has been impressing for reigning United Rugby Championship champions Glasgow Warriors.

He has also become a regular on the international stage, winning nine caps for Scotland as well as being named vice-captain for a Scotland A fixture at the end of last year.

It is four years since the 23-year-old was first named in a senior Scotland squad, back during the 2021 Six Nations.

Having featured both on the wing and at his more natural scrum-half, he will compete for the latter berth in the team with Toulon’s Ben White and Glasgow teammate George Horne.

Scotland kick off their 2025 Six Nations campaign against Italy at Murrayfield on Saturday, February 1.
