Law makes discus retirement u-turn

Great Britain discus thrower Kirsty Law has made a New Year’s resolution not to retire after all and to continue to train and compete into 2019 at least.

The 11-time Scottish champion made what looked like a definite decision in August to call it a day.

However she dropped a strong hint about a change of heart on her wedding day in November, in advance of this New Year announcement.
