Inverness plays host to over 760 primary school pupils at the McRobert Cup at Torvean Park

PRIMARY school kids were on the run in Inverness as they were competing at one of the biggest school sport events in the Highlands.

Over 760 children competed at the McRobert Cup as pupils from primary schools based in Inverness and surrounding areas ran at Torvean Park on Wednesday morning.

The races were divided into individual competitions for Primary Four and Five age group as well as Primary Six and Seven age groups.
