Sports development company Prime Management ran its first trip for budding footballers from Inverness to give them an insight into what it takes to be a professional athlete.

Fin Annand and Jana Brady took 13 girls down to Rangers for training sessions, workshops and matches.

Four of them were then selected for the north of Scotland schoolgirl trials off the back of their performances on the trip.

Abbie McKenzie and Freya MacLennan from Millburn Academy, Katie Weir from Culloden Academy and Emily Murray from Inverness Royal Academy all took part in the regional trials last week.

And Annand says that the trip could not have come at a better time for them.
