Goalkeeper Yan Gromov from Lowland League outfit Cumbernauld Colts, full-back Diste Camara Sylla from Civil Service Strollers and Malick Diakite from English North West Counties League outfit Squires Gate are believed to have been training with the League One outfit.

The identity of the trio, who were reported to be training with Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Highland Rugby Club, was reportedly revealed by agent Mark Agg-Jones on social media. The trio were each pictured wearing Caley Thistle shirts.

He wrote: “Sometimes you have to find an opportunity, put yourself in the firing line and be tested: exactly what these three athletes have done.

“None of this is possible without bigger clubs opening chances and importantly, the players’ present clubs being supportive.”

But Inverness Caledonian Thistle are unable to sign players on permanent contracts while they are in administration.

However, it was revealed by administrators BDO today that the club have reopened talks with “four or five parties” who are interested in buying the club.

It comes after BDO announced that loans have been written off and shares returned to the club, assuming a buyer can be found, after a deal was agreed with shareholders and a former director.

Meanwhile, head coach Scott Kellacher said he is only focussed on steering Inverness clear of the bottom two and avoid the relegation zone to remain in League One next season.
