JOHN Robertson has agreed a deal to remain as manager at Inverness Caledonian Thistle until 2021.

It was announced by the club on Wednesday afternoon that the 54-year-old had agreed a new contract.

ICT chairman Graham Rae says he was delighted Robertson has decided to stay at the club for at least three years.

"I am delighted that our manager John Robertson has extended his stay with us for one more year - until the summer of 2021.

"The club has not lost a game in the Championship since winning the Irn Bru Cup in March with an unbeaten run extending to 19 games.

"He is an excellent spokesman and ambassador for the Club, enjoying a frequent and engaging rapport with our supporters.

"We value John’s leadership and wish him and the team the very best."
