Ross County strengthen ranks in preparation for SPL
DEFENDER Scott Boyd has become the latest Ross County star to agree to stay at the Scottish Premier League club for at least one more season.
The 25-year-old penned a new deal 24 hours after goalkeeper Michael Fraser and attacker Steven Craig agreed new deals at Victoria Park.
They follow teammates Stuart Kettlewell, Kurtis Byrne, Mark Corcoran and Joe Malin who have already signed until next summer.
"Scott arrived at the club as a very promising young player and during his time here he has developed and improved," said County manager Derek Adams.
"In fulfilling that potential he has been an integral part of the club’s successes on the pitch during the most successful period in the club’s long history.
"The focus for every player in football has to be the challenge that lies ahead and having helped us to both the Second and First Division titles Scott is exactly the type of player that I want to have in my team as we take on the challenge of the SPL."
