Ross Sutherland evade Police in defence of Bowl

ROSS Sutherland successfully made it through the first round of their Caledonia Bowl defence but had to defend a late rally from North Police in a 43-38 victory at Invergordon.

The Stags appeared to be cruising to victory leading 43-24 at one point in the game.

But two late tries in the closing minutes of the game left the hosts hanging on for the final whistle.
