Shinty competition reveals its new look with sponsors Cottages.com for 2022
The Camanachd Association and cottages.com have unveiled the 2022 MacTavish Cup logo.
The logo amalgamates the sponsors and the competition together for the first time, symbolising the continued partnership and commitment from cottages.com to the sport which was proven by the signing of a two-year extension in December.
Teams will find out their first round ties on Monday, February 14, the draw taking
place at Portree Gaelic School with many of the sides setting their sights on the final at Bught Park in Inverness on Saturday, June 11.
One of the sides looking to lift the trophy come June is current holders Kinlochshiel, their goalkeeper Josh Grant saying: “It’s a great cup to win and I know as a team we feel very proud to have won it and this new logo should heighten the cups profile even more which can only be a good thing.
"I know that we at Kinlochshiel want to emulate our win in 2021 but we have

to stay humble, the hard work of pre-season is already well underway.”
Cottages.com Owner Acquisition Manager, Stuart Walkden said: “For the fifth consecutive year, we are absolutely delighted to be title sponsors for the MacTavish Cup and can’t wait for the action to begin.
"The new logo unifies our ongoing commitment to the development of Shinty and to our partnership with the Camanachd Association."
