Scorer: Walsh (71)

Tom Walsh ended Inverness Caledonian Thistle's winless run of seven matches scoring the only goal of the game to bring the three points back to the Highlands.

Inverness broke the deadlock in the 71st minute and did so in style when Walsh fired a thunderous curling effort from 20 yards into the top right corner which goalkeeper Cammy Bell couldn’t stop hitting the net despite getting a hand to it.

However, Partick were awarded a penalty two minutes later when Charlie Trafford was guilty of handball.

But Mark Ridgers guessed correctly to dive to his left and block Blair Spittal's spotkick and then parry away Kris Doolan's rebound as ICT held on to win their first game since September and bring their undefeated record in the league to 24 games.
