What did Duncan Ferguson say after Inverness lost on penalties to Arbroath?
MANAGER Duncan Ferguson will look to play the same team in their final Premier Cup group game against Dundee as they did in the shootout defeat against Arbroath with their qualification hopes all but gone.
Ferguson says he will look to play the majority of his players who started against Arbroath in the match against Dundee on Saturday, as he prepares for the League One opener against Dumbarton on Saturday, August 3.
He said: “We got a good draw tonight, when our team sheet was such a young team, you didn’t know what to expect.
“But I thought our young team played well and I am proud of them.

“Dundee will be a tough game, but I am going with the same team and I am sure we will acquit ourselves well.”
Ferguson says there was an element of frustration on the night they were unable to find the net and get the win.
He said: “I think that we dominated in the second half, they went down to 10 men, but we couldn’t break them down.
“We couldn’t find the killer pass, we were getting a bit edgy. We should have kept possession better but I was pleased with the overall game.
“But with the average age young, I was really proud of the players tonight against a team who are the favourites for the league.”
Defender Jack Walker was stretchered off in the first half after being involved in a collision. Ferguson is confident that he will be OK despite the knock.
He said: “We think that he is alright, we have not heard anything other than that.”
