Women are on target at Highland Bowhunters Club Handicap Competition





It was a clean sweep for the female archers at this year’s Highland Bowhunters Club Handicap Competition.

Vicky Walker (Freestyle) and Liz MacKinnon (Bowhunter) beat all challengers to win their respective classifications.

In the Bowhunter classification Kristina Petkova (Silver) and Sarah Kempley (Bronze) completed a very successful competition for the female archers with only four points separating the top three.

The archery club which is based in the grounds of Bowhunter Archery near Ardersier, usually runs their 20 yard Club Handicap target Competition between October to March.

However, due to lockdown restrictions earlier in the year the competition was extended to July.

Results

Freestyle – 1 V Walker 1293 pts, 2 P McInnes 1272 pts, 3 G Ryan 1269 pts.

BowHunter –1 L MacKinnon 1278 pts, 2 K Petkova 1277 pts, 3 S Kemply 1274 pts.
