Women to make debut at Inverness Caledonian Thistle

INVERNESS Caledonian Thistle will be competing in national women’s football this year after agreeing to take over an existing club.

Inverness City Ladies FC have signed a deal to be renamed as Inverness Caledonian Thistle Women and will compete in SWFL Division One North in the 2019 season.

The club will kick off their league campaign on Sunday when they play their first match at Aberdeen.

But before a ball has even been kicked, head coach Karen Mason says her players have already felt the benefits of joining forces with Caley Thistle.
