Youth initiative takes off at Caley Thistle
CALEY Thistle’s free match tickets scheme has started to take off among young supporters.
The initiative was introduced last season and offers spare seats in the West Stand at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium to primary school youngsters, children’s sports groups and associations, including Scouts and Boys and Girls Brigades.
"It gives them a chance to sample SPL football," said the club’s operations director Kenny Cameron, who will become executive chairman at the annual general meeting on Thursday.
"Terry Butcher and the players are delighted as the enthusiasm from the boys and girls adds to the atmosphere."
