Aberdeen gig for Wigan indie rockers
The Lathums, made up of front-man Alex Moore, multi-instrumentalist Scott Concepcion, bassist Johnny Cunliffe and drummer Ryan Durrans will head to Aberdeen's Lemon Tree next year.
They realeased their latest single in July which marked their first new track to be offered to fans since lockdown.
It was also their debut for the Island Records label and saw them enter the official charts with their EP, The Memories We Make which is available in vinyl and digital formats.
Shot on vintage Super 8 film in and around Wigan, their latest video for their single All My Life captures the friendship and aimlessness of summer days.
The video for the new single, which was recorded at Liverpool's Parr Street Studios with producer James Skelly, was shot by prolific music film-maker James Slater.
The group celebrating its launch with a listening party on Twitter hosted by Tim Burgess of alternative rockers The Charlatans.
The Lathums have enjoyed a rapid rise to the top of the music scene with their bright, upbeat melodies, taut songwriting and lyrics which include subjects such as the French Resistance, digital culture and the materialistic age.
The group cites acts including The Housemartins and The Ramones on its list of influences.
The band has also created a buzz around its live shows, with arena support slots for Blossoms and sold-out venues on their debut headlining tour.
Their fast-growing profile brought them to the attention of Island Records, who signed them up in March.
