Bandstock QnA: Rope Limit revel in their music
Rope Limit say they are a group of lefty Americana enthusiasts who in their spare time enjoy the camaraderie of playing together and the odd gig or two.
Established in 2018, the band now has a well-established line-up of talented musicians who can cover over three hours of material.
They say: "The band has started to write and perform some of their own songs and they have gone down well during our sets. We are regulars at the Innes Bar and the Clachnaharry Inn.
"Perhaps our music does not fit with what some perceive to be country music, but we persevere with our choices and revel in getting the words and music across.
"As George Jones once said 'When you’re happy you listen to the music. When you’re sad you listen to the words.'
"We'd love to see some new and familiar faces in the crowd at Bandstock.
"We also seem to have a lot of songs that mention the word whiskey. As a band, our hearts are in the Highlands – but our souls are soaked in bourbon..."
