From Glasgow to Edinburgh to Dundee to Aberdeen to the Highlands and Islands and all the regions in-between, comedian and presenter Chris Forbes undertakes a light-hearted exploration of our geo-comedy character and, through interview and classic archive, maps our very own Scottish comedy SatNav.

In the first episode Chris talks to stand-up comedian and farmer Jim Smith to hear about his passion for north-east comedy, and listeners also hear from writer and performer Moray Hunter to discuss classic sketch group Absolutely, and to try and discover exactly where Stoneybridge is.

Clips featured include Desperate Fishwives, Scotland The What, Naked Radio, Breaking The News and The Absolutely Radio Show.

Comedy Map of Scotland episode one airs on Monday, December 28 on BBC Radio Scotland at 1pm.
