EP launch for singer-songwriter Megan Blyth
One of Inverness' brightest young singer-songwriters will take to the Bothy stage this Saturday to celebrate the release of her new EP.
Megan Blyth, fresh from her appearance at the Black Isle Brewery's “Beer, Cheese and Tunes” last Saturday, will be joined by special guests Lionel – playing an acoustic set – and fellow singer-songwriter Eilidh Briars.
Citing PJ Harvey, Janis Joplin and Joni Mitchell among her influences, the gig will promote the digital launch of her EP, “The Devil's Own”.
Have a listen to this - the track "Fading Away", performed live for goNORTH back in the dark ages of 2012. You may recognise What's On North's good friend Jamie Macdonald from Netsounds Unsigned popping up to introduce her at the start - like a less awful Fearne Cotton.
