Fiddle Orchestra's support for Marie Curie
While their highly popular Aberdeen performance has fallen foul of the current restrictions, the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra will be broadcasting a full concert recording on YouTube on Saturday, May 16 in place of the postponed 40th anniversary Music Hall concert to support their loyal followers and their charity partners Marie Curie.
Marie Curie provides care and support for people who are dying or living with a terminal illness, as well as their loved ones.
As the Coronavirus pandemic unfolds their nurses and hospices are on the frontline and needed more than ever to keep caring for dying people with and without coronavirus.
Just at the time their hospices and community nursing services are needed more than ever their income has been decimated by the lockdown.
As a consequence they have had to launch an Emergency Appeal to raise the quarter of a million pounds they need every week to run Scottish services.
Viewers can join Blair Parham, Colette Ruddy, Dennis Haggerty, Robert Lovie and The SFO for a great night in filmed earlier this year in Perth and perhaps in return donate to the Marie Curie Emergency Appeal.
