Boutique gin and jazz music event set to take place at former Shed of the Year winner Inshriach Distillery – featuring artists including Fat Suit, Tamzene, Brass Gumbo, Swampfog and more

A NEW event in the heart of Strathspey is hoping to offer the perfect cocktail of gin and jazz music.

The appropriately named GinJazz comes to Inshriach Distillery – which famously won Shed of the Year in 2015 – this Friday and Saturday, offering up two separate outings of live music, gin, and food.

Starting from 5pm, Friday night sees bands The Tenement Jazz Band, Bohemian Monk Machine and DJ Dolphin Boy take the stage.

While Saturday kicks off at 12.30pm and sees two stages of jazz and jazz-tinged acts, with the likes of Tamzene, Fat Suit, Brass Gumbo and Swampfog performing.

A selection of the distillery’s produce will also be available; while there will also be a restaurant dining experience on the lawn of the distillery from Wild Rover Food available for hungry punters for £40 per head.

Tickets for both days are still available with a range of options. Camping is also available. For full details, go to www.ginjazz.com
