New Scottish film with stars from Sunshine on Leith and Outlaw King hopes to Connect people with mental health issues when it screens at Eden Court, Inverness





A SCOTTISH film about love and mental health is following up a recent Holyrood screening with a special showing and QnA at Eden Court.

Connect is a love story about a young man battling with his mental health starring Kevin Guthrie (Sunshine on Leith, Fantastic Beasts), Siobhan Reilly. (Angels’ Share) and Stephen McCole (Outlaw King).

The film was invited to screen at the Scottish Parliament in September by Miles Briggs MSP to raise awareness of male mental health.

The film will be released on 25th October and will screen at Glasgow Film Theatre over that weekend before commencing a UK QnA Tour, including a screening at Eden Court, Inverness on Tuesday, October 29 at 7.30pm.

The screening and will be followed by a QnA with the film’s director and producer Marilyn Edmond, with plans to also invite a local mental health charity to take part.
