1 PSYCHEDELIA-tinged house pioneers The Orb come to the Ironworks this weekend as part of a tour celebrating 30 years of jams.
The duo – Alex Paterson and Thomas Fehlmann – come to the Inverness venue on Friday night to deliver a set packed with three decades of hits – from 1991’s The Orb’s Adventured Beyond the Ultraworld to 2018’s No Sounds are Out of Bounds.

2 A TRIBUTE to some of the lost great legends of rock ‘n’ roll makes its way to Dingwall as the tour hits its 10th year on the road.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Paradise comes to the town hall on Saturday night, offering up the rocking sounds of Buddy Holly, Gene Vincent, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Big Bopper – and more.

3 AWARD-winning classical group The Odora Trio come to Cromarty this Sunday for an afternoon concert.
The three musicians – prize winners at the 2017 Isaacs and Pirani piano competition – visit the Stables to perform a programme featuring Mozart, Mendelssohn, Beethoven and Ireland.

4 A CONCERT from instrumentalists Coronach will explore and perform the popular music of the Renaissance Court of Scotland.
The group perform at Nairn Museum on Sunday with a programme including Robert Carver, Guillaume de Machaut, Clemens non Papa and Looyset Compère, looking at the secret messages in the music.

5 EDEN Court’s Integrated Performance Group will be showing plenty of Puck when they bring their version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream to the stage.
The group – which is open to young people and adults with and without additional needs – bring their take on the classic Shakespearean comedy to the OneTouch on Monday afternoon.

6 A NIGHT celebrating some of the biggest songs of the 60s comes to Eden Court next week.
The Summer of Love arrives at the Inverness theatre on Tuesday, with a full live band and singers performing all the hits – California Dreaming, San Francisco, Turn Turn Turn, and more than 40 more songs.

7 LOSSIEMOUTH’s annual A Night at the Musicals series of concerts returns to the town hall for its fourth year next week.
The show – featuring local singers and a live band – begins a three night run from Thursday, with the profits going to the Cash for Kids charity scheme.
