The Spin Doctor has a Mad Hatters appointment

US songwriters Chris Barron of The Spin Doctors and Lach (BBC Radio 4's The Lach Chronicles) will play an acoustic double headline show at Mad Hatters, Inverness on Tuesday November 8.

Chris Barron's band, The Spin Doctors were ubiquitous in the early nineties, with their album Pocketful of Kryptonite a hit across the globe.

Barron has a Grammy nomination, a Rolling Stone cover, two multi-platinum albums and two Top Ten hits: Little Miss Can't Be Wrong and Two Princes.

This is Chris's second solo UK tour and will feature his hits as well as new songs.

Lach is renowned as the founder of the New York Antifolk moment, and cited as a main inspiration for such acts as Beck, Regina Spektor, Jeffrey Lewis and hundreds of others. Lach has six critically acclaimed albums (“Splendid, best of its kind!”-Mojo Magazine), a newly published book of poetry and a hit BBC Radio 4 comedy series ‘The Lach Chronicles’ (Top Radio Pick Hit from London Times, Observer, Independent, Daily Mail, Telegraph and RadioTimes) to his credit.

Tickets for the Inverness show will be on sale Friday September 30 from 10 am from www.hootanannyinverness.co.uk and from Eden Court Box Office.
