One of the Highlands' leading businessmen says the freeport could regenerate the whole of the north.

Global Energy Group chief Roy MacGregor with decades of experience in oil and gas moved to renewables ten years ago.

Now, he says, the green freeport is the "culmination" of the work group has undertaken over that time.

And the benefits of the freeport are not limited to the Cromarty Firth but right across the region.
